Aloha! E Komo Mai | Welcome
Hawaiian studies was a significant part of my early childhood education. A Kupuna (elder) would visit our class once a week. Before entering, she would gently say “Hui….” and as a class of 2nd, 3rd, 4th graders, we would respond, “E komo mai!” This means, “welcome” and “come in and enter.”
Welcome to LAHI. Please make yourself at home. Visit often. Our new website is undergoing renovations. This is my “Chip and Joanna” project. I’ve taken our old website and plan on making it the prettiest website on the block. It will be a process and we hope you check back often for new things we post for sale and our blog.
In the mean time, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Wishing you a prosperous 2017!
